Train Them Young (TTY)
Train Them Young (TTY) is the flagship program of the Masjid, thoughtfully designed to nurture the spiritual, intellectual, and moral development of the community’s children. Catering to both boys and girls aged five to eighteen, this initiative serves as a foundational step in fostering a deep understanding of Islamic principles and values.
The program offers a structured curriculum that covers essential Islamic studies, including Quranic recitation, memorization (Hifz), and comprehension (Tafsir). Alongside Quranic education, students are introduced to the life of the Prophet Muhammad (Sunnah), basic Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), and Akhlaq (Islamic ethics and manners) to equip them with a well-rounded perspective on their faith.
TTY emphasizes an engaging and interactive learning environment where children can not only gain religious knowledge but also develop a strong connection to the Masjid and their peers within the community. By instilling a love for learning and a commitment to Islamic values, the program prepares the younger generation to carry their faith confidently and contribute positively to society.
